About
Hello, I'm Peter
St Lucia to Ladbroke Grove to a microphone, and twenty-odd years of gigs in between. Come in, make yourself at home.
Hello
Where it all started
Peter spent his first seven years in St Lucia before the family moved to London, where he grew up around Ladbroke Grove and Paddington. Two islands, two rhythms, and a childhood spent listening to both.
That mix is still there every time he picks up a microphone. It shaped how he sees the world long before it ever turned into material.
He started performing properly in 2001, and he has not really stopped since: clubs, theatres, showcases and dates abroad, one room at a time.
On stage
On stage
Peter's comedy comes straight out of real life. The everyday stuff, the family stuff, the things that actually happened - told properly, with the details left in.
He is a storyteller first and foremost. Warm, sharp, bold when a story needs it, and just as at home in a 60-seat club as he is in a 1,000-seat theatre.
Audiences tend to leave feeling like they have spent an hour with someone they know, which is exactly the idea.
Other work
Away from the mic
Stand-up is the heart of it, but it is not all of it. Peter also writes, works in theatre, and takes on projects that let him tell longer stories.
New bits and pieces get added here as soon as they are out in the world.
